The Cloud Walkway is an area found in Black Space 2. It can primarily be accessed through one of the doors in the Black Space hub should certain conditions be met, although other links to it exist.
Overview
The Cloud Walkway is a walkway positioned high in the sky, above the clouds. Several surreal and eerie sights can be found in this area.
Omoli can be found in the southwest corner, begging for money. After acquiring Twenty Dollars from Money Space, Omori can donate them to Omoli. Doing so will cause him to abruptly vanish, although he will reappear whenever Omori revisits the area.
There is a man named "Big Pocket" in the top left corner, who offers to dance with Omori. Agreeing will result in Omori simply watching him dance without participating, as he "didn't know how to do the dance." If Omori starts the dance while stranding right beside Big Pocket, he will accidentally begin hitting Omori during his dance, which will damage his , although this cannot kill him.
A box in the bottom left corner contains one of Sunny's memories of his mother reassuring him.[1]
Roughly east of the starting point is a crying Pluto. If Omori attempts to approach him, he will refuse, noticing that he "doesn't look like himself" and deciding that he needs to be left alone.[2]
Notable Areas
Behind The Waterfall
Interacting with the waterfall in the north west from behind it will warp the player to another area.
Many figures whisper amongst eachother in this area.. These figures tell Omori that they miss him and want him to return. If the room is left and then re-entered, these figures will instead tell Omori that they don't know him.
Interacting with the waterfall there will warp the player back to the Cloud Walkway.
Herosaurus
Entering the door in the east of the hub will bring the player to a dark room with another door. Repeatingly entering the door will eventually bring you to Herosaurus, a fusion between Hero and a dinosaur.
Interacting with the Herosaurus will prompt him to ask if Omori "still accepts [him]." Leaving this room will bring you back to the Cloud Walkway.
Money Space
Walking south and then taking the first path east will bring you to Loomy guarding a toilet. After interacting with it, it will start to follow you, telling Omori that it's Tag ability allows it to move quickly by "travelling through toilets" and asking him to "tag him in". It's worth noting that it cannot be tagged in as it claims, as it is not an actual party member.
Loomy can either be dodged by moving away and waiting for it to move away from the toilet, or alternatively killed by interacting with it, which will prompt Omori to fatally slash it. In either case, interacting with the toilet will bring Omori to Money Space.
Money Space is a strange room primarily containing a pool full of dollar bills that Kel is swimming in. Interacting with the pool will give Omori "Twenty Dollars". This can be repeated to obtain an infinite amount of Twenty Dollars, although there is no practical use for them.
The Beach
After visiting Money Space and acquiring Twenty Dollars at least once, a door will spawn above the starting point. This door will attempt to run away from Omori but can be entered by cornering it.
The "Beach" is a very poorly drawn island with an equally poorly drawn sun overhead. There is a crab and a palm tree on the island. Interacting with the crab will cause it to tell Omori about its tanning efforts.
After a few moments the island will catch fire. Interacting with the crab again in this state will result in Omori noting that the crab "is dying."
Staying in the fire will slowly drain Omori's until it hits 0, killing him. The Island can always be left by either swimming back to shore, or by stabbing out.
Dialogue
Behind the Waterfall:
"The Faceless are speaking in hushed whispers amongst themselves."
Faceless: "Even if you hide something, it will always be there."
Faceless: "I'm sorry, but I don't remember who you are."
Faceless: "You look older, Omori. But not wiser."
Faceless: "I thought you had left us for your other friends. It is good to have you back."
Faceless: "I hope you had fun without us."
Faceless: "I saw someone waiting for you. I think you should go see him."
Faceless: "Careful about the railing."
Faceless: "How long are you going to keep us locked in here?"
Faceless: "Don't leave."
General Area:
Loomy: "Oh! Well, if it isn't my old friend! I have the ability to move between places quickly by traveling through toilets!"
Loomy: "TAG me in and I'll show you, Omori!"
Loomy: TAG me in, Omori!"
Loomy: "Hey, TAG me in!"
"You don't know this person."
Big Pocket: "I'm gonna dance!"
Omoli: "Hungry..."
Omoli: "Please money..."
Omoli: "Thabks..."
Money Space:
"Welcome to Money Space. Only Kel is allowed in here."
Trivia
- Originally, the beach was supposed to be in Lost Forest, it is unknown why this was changed.[3]
- This is known because the dialogue used there is stored under "LOST FOREST 1: 266".
- Additionally, a door leading to the beach can be found in the lost forest map in the 2019 build of the game.
- The Telesope found in the Otherworld's outskirts shows a different view and teleports Omori to "Cloud Walkway" if the switch named "Blackspace_Pocket" is on.
- Weirdly enough, this switch only gets turned on if Omori enters a pocket and gets turned off when Omori leaves one, so it is impossible to enter Cloud Walkway this way.
- Kel has a 1 in 99 chance to say "Welcome to Money Space. Only Kel is allowed in here." every time the player interacts with the pool. This is a one time event.
- Loomy will not respawn once killed.
- The door that leads to Herosaurus was once locked, with the key ingredient being used to unlock it.
Alternative Entrances
- There is a 1 in 99 chance that interacting with the broken telescope in the dungeon in Sweetheart's Castle will warp Omori to this area while on the last day of the Hikikomori Route.
