items are a important part of OMORI both during encounters and outside of it. In game, they can be found under the "equips" and "pocket" tab in the menu, it's separated on the following categories:

  • Charms: Charms are equippable itens that any party member can equip, it can boosts stats and/or apply states or emotions to the user that changes the flow of the battle or its rewards.
  • Weapons: Weapons are equippable itens which Omori and his friends uses to attack, unless they are using specific charms that boosts hit rating, it's impossible to hit any target without the use of weapons, each character can only equip weapons asigned to them, being knives for Omori, Toys for Aubrey, balls for Kel and kitchen ware for [Hero].
  • Toys: Toys are consumable itens that can be used in combat, causing a variety of effects to both the party and the enemy, like dealing, changing emotions or applying debuffs.
  • Snacks: Snacks are consumable itens that can be used both in combat or outside of it, applying buffs to the party or healing its HP.png and MP.png, which can also be done outside of combat.
  • Important Items: Important itens, or just "Important" as seen in game, are itens that serves as key item for quests and others interactions with specific events, some important items are also usable outside of combat, like Hero's Foe Facts! and the Emotion Chart.
