Mewo

Mewo is a small black cat with bright white eyes owned by Sunny's older sister, Mari. She can be seen in multiple areas, them being: White Space, Black Space, and the Crossroads.

Story

Mewo is a cute black kitten with white eyes and a short tail. Although Mewo is the first NPC we meet, we barely see her in the game, as she appears in only three notable areas. Them being: White Space, Punishment Area, and Crossroads.

Headspace

In Headspace, instead of Mewo being Mari's cat, it's Omori's cat. She comforts Omori by snuggling him, as seen in the Omori Comics.

White Space

Mewo is seen laying down next to the floor mat, and opposite the door. Upon interacting with Mewo, she asks if you are waiting for something to happen.

Black Space

Mewo is seen in the 6th room in black space: Punishment Area. Mewo will be strapped to an autopsy table. Next to the table is the Butler. Upon interacting with the Butler, he says that "Mewo has been very, very bad". If you interact with Mewo, it will ask you if you want to cut open Mewo. If you say yes, the same question will pop up. You will need to select "Yes" about 7 times in order to cut Mewo open. If you don't want to cut Mewo open, you can stab yourself from the menu.

Note: The only way to escape this room is to stab yourself.

Real World

In the Real World, Mewo is owned by Mari. Mewo has the same appearance that she does in Headspace, although she is only seen a couple times in the Real World. From the photo album we can deduct that Mari got her around the 20th of July. But, after Mari's untimely death, Mewo mysteriously disappears.

Crossroads

Crossroads is the place you get teleported to after you lose your eye to Basil. Mewo can be seen hopping in the direction where Sunny's old house is located.

Photo Album

Mewo is seen two times in the photo album, both times she is with Sunny.

  (7/20 - SUNNY'S BIRTHDAY): You can't really tell from the photo, but Mari and Hero got Sunny a giant building block set. Sunny seems much more interested in the box though. He acts just like Mari's new kitten, Mewo!

  (7/20 SUNNY'S BIRTHDAY): Sunny won't leave the box, so Kel put a food bowl inside. I guess this box will be Sunny and Mewo's new home.

• It's unclear what happened to Mewo after Mari's death.
• It's never stated what Mewo's breed is in-game.
