Kid's Kite is a "creature" that can be found in Pinwheel Forest, it's Kite Kid's precious possession, and will fight along side him if the player decides to battle with him, as the name suggests, it's a living kite.

Battle[1]

There are two variants that can be fough depending of how much the player progress before fighting Kite Kid. Whatever, both have no reward upon being defeated, and the only difference is its stats:

  • Before epilogue: 175 HP.png heart, 90 MP.png juice, 26 attack, 10 defense, 40 speed and 10 luck.
  • During epilogue: 3000 HP.png heart, 1500 MP.png juice, 100 attack, 35 defense, 100 speed and 10 luck.

Like most enemies, it will behave differently according to its emotion:

Emotion Behaviour
Neutral Kid's Kite
25% chance to 'fly', dealing attack damage to all party members.

45% chance of doing a normal attack.

Else, it will do nothing.

Happy Kid's Kite
30% chance to 'fly', dealing attack damage to all party members.

30% chance of doing a normal attack.

Else, it will do nothing .

Sad Kid's Kite
20% chance to 'fly', dealing attack damage to all party members.

30% chance of doing a normal attack.

Else, it will do nothing.

Angry Kid's Kite

Trivia

Its 'Fly' skill, combined to the fight's mechanics during the epilogue, can deal extreme damage if left without debuffs, as it will is capable of doing [300 heart - defense], besides the default 20% variation and critical chance.

Its 'Fly' skill seems to be supposed to work as a two turns move (like in "Pokemon"), it would first use a skill named "Fly" that would act as a setup to apply a jump state on the user, and then on the next turn use 'Fly 2', which is the skill we know in battle. it's unknown why it was scrapped.
