Sir Maximus III is a creature that can be found in Sweetheart’s Castle, it’s one of the three mini bosses you fight inside the castle, and the younger of the three members of the Maximus family you encounter in combat, after that they show up during the Boss Rush as a team.

Battle

When first fought, Sir Maximus III has 1110 heart, 550 juice, 24 attack, 24 defense, 20 speed and 15 luck. Like most enemies, it will behave differently in battle based on its emotion:

While neutral, it will first roll a 30% chance of doing a normal attack, followed by 25% chance of doing nothing, else it will roll a 30% chance to ‘hit twice’, dealing damage to two random party members once, finally, it will roll a 35% chance to ‘spin’, dealing increased damage to all party members, if everything fail, it will ‘flex’, turning itself happy and increasing the damage of the next attack by 2.5x. If defeated while neutral, it will reward the player a tofu, 2500 exp and 600 clams.

While happy, it will first roll a 40% chance of doing a normal attack, followed by 30% chance of doing nothing, else it will roll a 30% chance to ‘hit twice’, dealing damage to two random party members once, finally, it will ‘spin’, dealing increased damage to all party members. If defeated while happy, it will reward the player a tofu, 2500 exp and 900 clams.

While sad, it will first roll a 40% chance of doing a normal attack, followed a 30% chance to ‘hit twice’, dealing damage to two random party members once, then, it will roll a 30% chance to ‘spin’, dealing increased damage to all party members, if everything fail, it will ‘flex’, turning itself happy and increasing the damage of the next attack by 2.5x. If defeated while sad, it will reward the player a tofu, 1875 exp and 450 clams.

While angry, it will first roll a 45% chance of doing a normal attack, followed by 30% chance of doing nothing, else it will roll a 45% chance to ‘hit twice’, dealing damage to two random party members once, finally, it will roll a 40% chance to ‘spin’, dealing increased damage to all party members, if everything fail, it will, it will ‘flex’, turning itself happy and increasing the damage of the next attack by 2.5x. If defeated while neutral, it will reward the player a tofu, 3750 exp and 600 clams.

Regardless of emotion, once it reaches 220 heart (20%), it will force its ‘ultimate attack’ once, dealing 50 damage to all party members, it’s immortal before doing that, and will die afterward if its heart is 0.

When fought in the Boss Rush, it will have 4000 heart, 200 juice, 75 attack, 100 defense, 75 speed and 15 luck. It will behave identically as when first met but giving no rewards. When it reaches 0 heart, it will do its ‘ultimate attack’ according to the number of troops alive, dealing 50, 75 or 100 damage to all party member the lower the number of troops alive respectively, dying afterward.

Trivia

The Flex effect gained from its ‘flex’ skill is the same used by Kel, with the addition of turning itself happy.

Later in the game, Sir Maximus IV can be found on one of the VIP Room suffering from its parents’ death.

Like the other Sir Maximus, it will cheer after defeating the player.

Its ‘spin’ skill can do up to 4x its attack value to the damage calculation when hitting a single target, 3x if there are two members and 2x if everyone is alive minus their defense.
