Shadow Dog

The Shadow dog.

The Shadow Dog is a character in OMORI. As the name suggests, it's a shadow with it's form resembling a dog.

Shadow Dog can be found in one of the east alcoves of the Vast Forest, it will have a 50% chance of showing up in three different locations of the room and 50% chance of not appearing at all, and as soon as the party enters they will always hear it bark, regardless of it's presence or not.

Interactions

Interacting with the Shadow Dog will make him bark and disappear, leaving a random item in the hands of the party, which can be a can, a hot dog, life jam, a cherry soda or a sparkler.

Trivia

• Interacting with it for the first time will reward the player with the "Good Dog" achievement.
• This is one of the ways of farming cans for the "Recycling is a concept" achievement, but still pales in comparison with the junkyard farm.
