The Recycling Machine is an object found in Otherworld Campsite, located just below Captain Spaceboy's house. Omori and his friends can recycle various garbage items at it in exchange for clams and various accessories.
Each type of garbage will reward the party with different amounts of clams, and accessories will be granted at specific quantities of recycled objects, up to 50.
Rewards
- Cans: 5 clams
- Glass bottles: 10 clams
- Cardboard: 15 clams
- Dead batteries: 20 clams
- Computer parts: 25 clams
Additionally, accessories will be rewarded after a certain number of items are recycled:
- Seer Goggles: 5 items
- Flashlight: 10 items
- Cellphone: 25 items
- Universal Remote: 50 items
Farming
The fastest way to obtain garbage is to repeatedly get into battles in the Otherworld Junkyard, and fleeing as soon as the battle begins. Whenever Kel digs through the garbage at the start of a battle, there is a 1/8 chance that he will dig up a can.
Notes
- Recycling 50 objects and obtaining the Universal Remote is a requirement for the "Recycling is a Concept" achievement.
