Captain Spaceboy

Captain SpaceBoy one of the first bosses encountered in OMORI.

ORIGIN

In 2014, the first demo of the game was shown off at (ill look up what this expo was called later)) with an old version of the Captain Space Boyfriend fight. This version of the game didn't have the signature hand-drawn art style and was not seen until one of the kickstarter updates showed him off in the new style

STORY

Captain SpaceBoy is first seen in the game after OMORI and his first traveled up the ladder to get to OTHERWORLD. He is referred to a Captain Space Boyfriend because he was originally in a relationship with Sweetheart. The group learns that he is lovesick and can't cheer him up because the special mixtape was thrown out. The group decides to go into the JUNKYARD to search for the missing mix-tape so that he can turn back into his old self. The mixtape ends up being found by ROSA; a sweetheart super-fan in search for any of SWEETHEART's merchandise. Once she makes it clear she refuses to give up the tape, OMORI and his friends have to chase her down to take it from her. The chase is halted when ROSA ends up crossing a "DO NOT CROSS" tape. Once crossing it, a boss battle is initiated against the DOWNLOAD WINDOW. Once defeated, the group manages to take the mixtape away, but only to learn from ROSA that Captain Space Boyfriend and SWEETHEART had broken up. However, the group doesn't believe her. After properly meeting PLUTO, the group flies back to the town part of OTHERWORLD to give the mixtape to Captain SpaceBoy and learn that what ROSA had said was true. All except for KEL, who put the mix-tape in and subsequently angered Captian SpaceBoy. Before the fight, AUBREY decides to call him Captian Space Ex-Boyfriend; now renaming him as such.
